Doug & Rollie Smith
The Doug & Rollie Smith Memorial Downhill is back for it's 60th year! This is one of the longest running Alpine Speed events in the country, and in the world today. This year's race will be held on the Ursa Major race course, one of the best speed tracks in the US. The 60th Doug & Rollie Smith Memorial Downhill is presented in memory of Doug & Rollie Smith, local legends who served their country and are memorialized through this race.
VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: we will need 60 volunteers each day for 7 straight days, must be able to ski, and provide their own equipment. Volunteers will receive a one day lift ticket for the event date (IF NOT ALREADY A SEASON PASS HOLDER) and a one day adult lift ticket to be used anytime, by anyone over the next 12 months at Whitefish Mountain Resort...what a deal! Races will usually start around 930-10am. This will be decided by the jury on a daily basis based on conditions.
